After the successful regional seminar organized in Tallinn (Estonia) in 2007, in Lisbon (2008) in Bucharest (2009) in Moscow (2010) and in Budapest (2011) GAMIAN-Europe wishes to go on with this tradition to organize regional seminars.
On this seminar members of a specific region (Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, Central Europe, North Europe, etc..) are invited to participate at an interactive workshop on a specific theme.
Maximum 25 participants exchange their (local/national) experiences, guided by one or two keynote addresses.
This year the Regional Seminar will be held in Larnaka (Cyprus) (1-2-3 June 2012)
The theme of the seminar is: “Adherence to treatment”.
The local partner is the Advocacy Group for the Mentally Ill (contact person: Elise Torrosian)
Participants
Gamian members from the Mediterranean countries were invited to send two delegates.
We would like your country to participate to this seminar.
Since there are more Gamian members in your country, we invite you to organize a consultation with you colleagues and design two delegates representing your country.
Each delegate should:
· Speak and understand English sufficiently.
· Belong to an association that has paid GAMIAN membership fee before 30 April 2012.
· One of the delegates needs to be a patient.
· Be able organize a knowledge transfer meeting afterwards
· Engage to send an article on the participation to the GAMIAN Newsletter.
Each country prepares a paper on how adherence problems are dealt with in his/her country and participates in the round table of Sunday morning. More derailed info will be send to you after registration.
Since we have several members in Greece, we suggest that you decide together who will represent Greece.
(each association sending one delegate or deciding on a common delegation representing both on you – you may also decide to have several delegations but only 2 greek delegates reimbursed...).

from what airport are you flying,
when can you be at departure the airport on Friday 1st June
when do you want to be back at the arrival airport at latest on Sunday 3rd June ).
(example: Brussels Airport, departure in Brussels no earlier than 10:00 – arrival in Brussels no later than 20:00)
